Who said the Golden Globes are just about the movies? For us, watching gorgeous gowns walk down the Red Carpet is the best part of the show. At the 69th Annual Golden Globes, these leading ladies brought Hollywood glamour to a new level.
Best Actress nominee Charlize Theron was ethereal in her blush pink Dior dress with a plunging neckline and dramatic Grecian draping. We love how her diamond Cartier headband, side-swept hair and nude makeup made it look like she floated straight out of an F. Scott Fitzgerald novel.
Emma Stone’s plum Lanvin dress had a plunging neckline and airy fabric that drew comparisons to Charlize’s gown and 1920s glam. But what sets this look apart is the details: The angular cap shoulders mirror the lines of the belt’s bird motif gorgeously. And on a Red Carpet filled with earth-tone dresses, this plum look brought some much-needed richness.

Zooey Deschanel's Prada dress was a sophisticated twist on her usual style. But her funky tuxedo nails let her quirky side shine.
The fashion world is already raving about Zooey Deschanel’s take on vintage. Her green and black silk Prada dress had stunning racerback detailing that made the look pop from all angles. It was refreshing to see Zooey take a sophisticated spin on her signature quirky style (which she chose to channel through her tuxedo nails). Want to create your own quirky nail look? And who could recap the best looks of the Golden Globes without mentioning Tilda Swinton? She was as captivating and bold as ever in a luscious take on the classic tailored suit, designed by Haider Ackermann. Her icy metallic lavender blazer and bleach-blond short hair struck the perfect masculine-feminine chord. Who knew pastels could look so powerful?
We also spotted some Indian inspiration mixed in with the Red Carpet’s vintage vibe. Check out the Eastern influence of these chunky bangles worn by Elle MacPherson and Nicole Richie. Want to emulate their fabulous bangle look? Try stacking Luxemi’s Bangle with Crystals, Red and Green Stones.
And for a glimpse of Indian high fashion at its best, we can’t help but gush over the looks Naeem Khan designed for Amy Poehler and Mireille Enos.

Two fabulous Naeem Khan looks: Amy Poehler's subtle sheen dress and Mereille Enos' vibrant yellow gown.
Luxemi loves Red Carpet fashion just as much as you do. And with the awards season now underway, make sure to check back with us for our takes on hits, misses and Indian influences!
