Everyone knows 1920s inspired jewelry is trending right now, and for Luxemi, that means one thing: An excuse to wear our favorite headpieces with just about anything in our closets! From Nicole Richie to Alicia Keys and Sonam Kapoor to Louise Roe, Luxemi’s favorite fashionistas are rocking the headpiece this spring to add some boho glam to their casual looks.

We’ve always loved Nicole Richie’s bohemian style, but the fashion icon’s headpiece looks have made us fall in love with her all over again. In the last few episodes of Fashion Star, Nicole has made the headpiece one of her jewelry staples — the ultimate sign that this classic Indian accessory is trending in Spring 2012! Songstress Alicia Keys is never one to shy away from ethnic fashion trends. She was recently spotted wearing a chic silver headpiece at the high-profile Chanel Ready-to-Wear Fall/Winter 2012 show in Paris earlier this month. The gorgeous accessory added some quick ethnic flair to her structured blazer. And did we mention it bears a striking resemblance to Luxemi’s Victorian Crystal and Black Stone Tikka?

Another of our favorite celebs, Louise Roe, wore a funky beaded headpiece to an A-List party over the weekend. We love how Louise paired her headpiece with a leather jacket and a tribal print blouse, a striking combination of old meets new. And this trend has International appeal. One of Luxemi’s favorite Indian fashion “It” girls, Sonam Kapoor, wore a stunning Kundan tikka in a recent fashion editorial spread that absolutely made us melt. We love that headpieces can be worn with super ornate traditional Indian sarees and salwars and then can be used to boost a more casual outfit for a girls’ night out.
